At Desert Leap Safari, we understand that plans can change. Our goal is to provide flexibility while maintaining a fair and transparent refund policy for all travelers. Please read the following terms carefully before booking your tour with us.

General Terms

By booking a tour on our website, you agree to the terms outlined in this refund policy. Refund eligibility varies depending on the type of tour booked and the timing of your cancellation.

1. Desert Safari Dubai Tours – Flexible 24-Hour Refund Policy

For all Desert Safari Dubai tours (including morning, evening, and overnight safaris):

  • 100% Refund: Cancellations made 24 hours or more before the tour start time.
  • No Refund: Cancellations made within 24 hours of the tour or no-shows.

We prepare and reserve resources specifically for your desert safari. This short window helps us manage operations and offer the best service to all guests.

2. Other Tours – Tiered Refund Policy

For all other tours including Abu Dhabi City Tour, Dubai City Tour, Dhow Cruise Marina, and other excursions:

  • 100% Refund: Cancellations made 72 hours or more in advance.
  • 50% Refund: Cancellations made between 48 to 72 hours in advance.
  • No Refund: Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled tour or in case of no-shows.

3. Changes, Delays & Cancellations

We strive to maintain all schedules as promised, but sometimes changes may occur due to unforeseen events such as:

  • Weather conditions
  • Road closures
  • Low participation
  • Government restrictions
  • Emergency situations

In the rare case that Desert Leap Safari cancels a tour, we will offer you either a full refund or the option to reschedule your tour at no extra cost.

Please note:

  • Changes to tour routes or services may occur without prior notice.
  • Refunds for partially used tours or skipped activities are not applicable.

4. Payment Methods

We accept various payment options for your convenience:

  • Credit/Debit Cards (Visa, MasterCard)
  • Google Pay / Apple Pay
  • Online Bank Transfer
  • Cash at Pickup
  • Payment via Card Machine

Note: A 5% VAT and card processing fee applies to all electronic payments.

5. No-Show Policy

If you fail to show up for your scheduled tour without prior cancellation notice within the allowed timeframe:

  • No refund will be issued
  • The tour will be marked as completed

Please ensure you are ready at your confirmed pickup location at the designated time to avoid disappointment.

6. Travel Insurance Recommendation

We recommend that all travelers obtain travel insurance prior to their trip to cover any unforeseen cancellations, delays, accidents, or loss of personal belongings. Desert Leap Safari is not responsible for any such losses or damages.
