The ideal months for a desert safari in Dubai are October to April, when temperatures are comfortable (20–30°C in the afternoon) and evenings are cool and pleasant. Summer safaris (June–August) are possible but temperatures can exceed 45°C — we recommend morning safari options during this period to avoid peak heat.
Light, breathable clothing works well for daytime and evening safaris. In winter months (November–February), evenings can be chilly — bring a light jacket. Closed-toe shoes or athletic trainers are ideal for sandboarding and walking on the dunes. Bring sunglasses, sunblock, and a scarf or shawl for sand and wind.
All Desert Leap Safari packages include free 4x4 hotel pickup from Dubai and Sharjah. Our drivers collect you from your hotel lobby or apartment building and return you after the tour. No taxi, no navigation — we handle everything.
Absolutely. Our dune bashing drivers are DTCM-certified and trained specifically for off-road desert driving. All vehicles are equipped with full seat belts, roll cages, and first-aid kits.
